Para principiantes cósmicos

He aquí algunos consejos y cosillas para aclarar a nuestros novatillos en el juego.

- Las naves tienen un código por el cual se les reconoce en los mapas de batalla.
BB - Battleship = nave de batalla
CV- Carrier = carguero
CG - Cruiser = crucero
DD - Destroyer = destructor
M - Other = desconocida

- Puedes poner de buque insignia una nave de poco aguante y con gran resistencia, como un carguero o un destructor. A cambio, la barra de energía se cargará rápidamente. JAMÁS LAS PONGAS AL FRENTE.

- always target the enemy ship in thire front rows first. (unless the game tells you to do something else, it will happen for a few event battles)

- when placing your ships set your flag ship as the ship with the lowest durability and armor and place it in the back row, ships with high durability/arrmor should be placed in the front.

- never place your flagship in the front row.

- keep moving forword untill all of your ships have all (save specals) of thire weapons in range before you attack. then withdraw to get out of range of thire weapons while your waitting for your gage to recharge.

- write down any side quests and your next story mission if you plan on not playing for a few days as there is no in game quest log. (and you got a memorie like mine) forgetting where to go next is one of the big flaws most people can/will have.

- infomation is givin on a need to know style and the game will assume you know everything already. so get used to looking on this board to find out what certin skills/mods will do.

- if you use the auto save option, the file is found at the bottem of the list.

- save before going to any new "???" or planets as event battles have a way of showing up when you least expect em.

- if unexpected event battles do happen (they will) you can pause your flight path and return to a starport you have just came from inorder to save/restor your ships. as there are a few times where you must fight back to back event battles.

- you can not get every crew member and/or blueprint in 1 playthrew. so dont worrie if a choice leads to someone dieing. choices are usualy an A or B and both lead to getting 1 crew member and missing another. other choices only provide a slight exp gain for the MC or other crew members.

- standard RPG common sence is required to fully enjoy this game. (sadly common sence isent all that common.)

Oh and the L button will skip dialogue and battle scenes to speed up the game. It is a godsend when looking for new bar conversations.

Usually, you should take out the ships in front of the enemy formation in order to hit more reliably. You can see which enemy is where by checking their positions in the bottom screen (3 arrowheads under their class ie BB for battleship , DD for Destroyer) Front positions are indicated by leftmost arrowhead.

And beware of Fatigue early on. It rises really really fast in the first 3 chapters since you do not have access to Livability modules like the Mess Hall. Assign Kira as Head Chef because her Amateur Chef skill will help reduce Fatigue.

Check if all weapons are in range of firing before actually shooting. The small boxes in the lower part of the Top Screen have to be blue. That means they can shoot. Red means they cant.

Assign for skills since stats will follow whatever assignment you give your crew. Torlo in an Artillery position will eventually have for Artillery stat than Torlo in a Navigation position. (but the Navigating Torlo will have more Nav). Skills play a bigger part, IMO.
